Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services and sales provided by JW TECH ENTERPRISES, LLC d/b/a JWTE Notary Service (“JWTE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Business Identity Notice

“JWTE Notary Service,” “JWTE,” and “JW TECH ENTERPRISES, LLC” all refer to the same legal entity, a Florida Limited Liability Company, operating under its registered trade name.

  • By engaging with JWTE, whether as a customer, client, or guest, you are entering into a binding agreement with JW TECH ENTERPRISES, LLC d/b/a JWTE Notary Service.
  • For regulatory purposes (including but not limited to ATF compliance and Florida notarial law), JWTE is the responsible entity of record.

2. Parties Covered by These Terms

These Terms apply to all individuals and entities interacting with JWTE, defined as follows:

  • Customer: Any individual or business purchasing products or services from JWTE, including firearms, accessories, or notarial services.
  • Client: Any individual or business engaging JWTE specifically for notarial services (in-person, mobile, or remote).
  • Guest: Any individual visiting our premises, website, or utilizing services without direct purchase (e.g., firearm transfer recipients, attendees, or visitors).

All customers, clients, and guests are bound by these Terms when entering our premises (physical or digital), purchasing, transferring, or storing a firearm, engaging JWTE for notarial services, or otherwise using JWTE’s services.

3. General Terms

  • All services and sales are subject to federal, state, and local law.
  • JWTE reserves the right to refuse service or cancel a transaction in its sole discrits sole discretion.
  • JWTE does not provide legal advice. You are responsible for knowing and complying with all applicable laws.

4. Firearm Sales & Transfers

4.1 Requirements

  • Buyer must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID.
  • Completion of ATF Form 4473 is mandatory for all firearm transfers.
  • All firearm background checks are conducted by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) under § 790.065, Florida Statutes, before transfer.
  • All acquisitions and dispositions are recorded in JWTE’s ATF A&D log in compliance with 27 C.F.R. § 478.121–125.

4.2 Refunds & Returns

  • All firearm and ammunition sales are final. No exceptions.
  • Non-regulated items (accessories, etc.) may be returned within 7 days if they are unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by a receipt. A 20% restocking fee may apply.

4.3 NFA-Regulated Items

  • Suppressors, Short-Barreled Rifles (SBRs), and other NFA-regulated items require an approved ATF form (e.g., Form 4) before the item can be transferred to the customer.
  • If an NFA application is denied by the ATF or abandoned by the customer, all deposits and payments may be forfeited to cover administrative and restocking costs.

5. Firearm Storage & Abandonment Policy

5.1 Storage Period

  • Firearms are stored free of charge for the first 7 days after arrival.
  • Beginning on Day 8, a storage fee of $10 per day, per firearm will be assessed.

5.2 Abandonment Timeline

  • A firearm will be deemed abandoned if, by Day 14, the customer has not completed required paperwork, retrieved the firearm, OR contacted JWTE in writing to make specific arrangements.
  • On Day 14, JWTE will issue a final written notice via email and/or certified mail. The customer will have 7 additional days to respond and resolve the issue.

5.3 Disposition of Abandoned Firearms

  • After a total of 21 days with no resolution, JWTE reserves the right to either:
    • Return the firearm to the original shipper or distributor, with the action recorded as a disposition in the A&D log, OR
    • Take ownership of the firearm as business inventory and resell it through ATF-compliant procedures.

5.4 Payments & Forfeiture

  • Any deposits or payments made by the customer will first be applied to outstanding storage and administrative fees.
  • Any remaining funds are forfeited unless otherwise required by law.

5.5 Compliance & Authority

  • This policy is enforced in accordance with:
    • ATF Regulations: 27 C.F.R. § 478.121–125; ATF Ruling 2017-1.
    • Florida Law: § 790.065, Florida Statutes (FDLE as POC); Chapters 705 & 715, Florida Statutes (abandoned property).
  • JWTE is not liable for any costs or damages arising from the disposition of a firearm once proper notice has been given and these procedures are followed.

6. Notary Services

6.1 Scope of Services

  • JWTE provides traditional in-person notarization, mobile notary services, and Remote Online Notarization (RON) in full compliance with Florida Statutes § 117.201–305.

6.2 Client Responsibilities

  • Present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID.
  • Appear in person or through an approved RON platform for the notarial act.
  • Ensure all documents are complete and contain no blank spaces before the notarization begins.

6.3 Fees

  • Notarial act fees are charged in accordance with Florida state law.
  • Additional travel and service fees apply for mobile and remote services.
  • All fees are non-refundable once the notarial act has been completed.

6.4 Limitations

  • JWTE notaries are not attorneys and are legally prohibited from providing legal advice or assisting in the preparation of documents.
  • We reserve the right to refuse notarization if a document appears fraudulent or incomplete, or if coercion or lack of understanding is suspected.

7. Payments

  • All listed prices reflect a cash discount.
  • Payments made by credit or debit card will incur a 3.49% processing fee.
  • Accepted payment forms include Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and other pre-approved methods.

8. Liability & Disclaimers

  • JWTE is not responsible for any delays caused by regulatory agencies, including the FDLE, ATF, or FBI.
  • JWTE is not liable for costs, losses, or damages related to abandoned firearms once the legal procedures outlined in these Terms have been followed.
  • All services are provided as-is without warranties beyond those expressly required by law.

9. Updates to Terms

  • JWTE reserves the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
  • Updated Terms are effective immediately upon being posted on our website or at our physical premises.
  • Your continued use of JWTE services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Quick Reference – Firearm Abandonment Timeline

  • Day 0: Firearm is received and logged into the ATF A&D record.
  • Days 1–7: Free storage period.
  • Days 8–14: Storage fees apply at $10/day.
  • Day 14: The firearm is considered abandoned. A final written notice is issued.
  • Days 15–21: Final 7-day grace period for the customer to respond.
  • Day 21+: Firearm is either returned to the sender or acquired as JWTE inventory for resale.
